I used to be a Chinese language teacher and a library teacher, but I definitely love the work of library and reading promotion more. I think leading children to read is one of the best jobs in the world! Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian once said: “If you don’t read for 3 days, your language is tasteless and your face is disgusting.” I am honored to come to LA to work as a teacher librarian. I wish there were more little book lovers in LA.
