Before moving to Hong Kong, I lived in and around London since I was born. Very early on in life I discovered my love of reading, writing and the English language. After attending a school in north-east London, I went to the University of Essex and graduated with a BA in English Literature with 1st class honours. After this, I taught at schools in the same area for 4 years and achieved my PGCE in English Education at the Institute of Education, UCL. In 2018, I decided to challenge myself further and broaden my horizons by coming to Hong Kong and Lutheran Academy to share my passion for the English language and for education. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (of course), hiking, rugby and good food! I look forward to working with you all to enrich our students’ lives.
