Born and raised in Shanghai, I speak both Shanghai dialect and Mandarin Chinese as native tongues. I obtained my BA degree in English Language and Literature, minored in TV Production from The Communication University of China(Beijing). During my senior year and after graduation, I had worked as an editor for two TV stations.

Thirteen years ago, I moved to Hong Kong for my MA degree study in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During my studies, I had worked for The Confucius Institute (HK) as a Chinese language instructor and had taught students from over 20 countries. Later, I completed my PGDE(Secondary Chinese) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and also obtained another MA degree there majoring in Chinese Language and Literature.

Joining L.A. and working here to serve the youth is both a calling and a blessing from God. I see sharing Christian values with my students and helping them to build relationships with God as one of my missions. My hobbies include reading, dancing, playing Guzheng, chess, and tennis, etc.
